GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have arrested three men suspected of taking part in a kidnapping that led to a fatal standoff at a Keenesburg home.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that 29-year-old Christopher Taylor, 18-year-old Phillip Ramsey and 33-year-old Duane Taylor are charged with accessory to kidnapping. They are accused of helping 42-year-old Shawn Kilker kidnap his estranged wife from a Hudson home in June.

SWAT officers were trying to arrest Kilker in the case Aug. 4 when he barricaded himself inside his Keenesburg home with his 14-year-old son, Keith.

The boy told negotiators he was there voluntarily and refused to leave. Several hours later, the Kilkers stopped communicating with officers and their bodies were found inside the home.

Investigators believe the elder Kilker shot and killed his son before killing himself.
