AUBURN, Wash. (AP) - The Washington State Patrol crime lab has confirmed it was human blood that was found on flooring and clothing someone burned along a road in Auburn, Washington, south of Seattle.

Auburn police Cmdr. Mike Hirman says investigators continue to receive tips but still don’t know who may have been injured or killed or who was seen driving away from the burning items on Wednesday. An off-duty federal agent stopped because he saw flames in the woods just off the Peasley Canyon Road.

So far, evidence has only been found at the scene of the fire. Hirman says a possible second location where officers were seen Thursday was where they were checking out a tip the fleeing SUV was seen.
