CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) - The campaign of Republican Allan Fung says there may be more Ohio-shot TV ads in the pipeline.

The campaign tells WJAR-TV (https://bit.ly/1oUAutM ) that the Cranston mayor shot more footage that could be used in future ads when he was in Ohio to film an ad about making Rhode Island “open for business.”

Fung has refused to talk about the production of the ad and why it was shot in Ohio. He says what’s important is the message of the ad.

The ad was shot July 31 at Tommy’s Diner in Columbus, Ohio. Campaign finance reports show Fung has paid $127,000 to Strategic Media in nearby Delaware, Ohio, for advertising services.

Fung’s campaign says it has no plans to use another company.
