SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Spokane had 17 days of 90-degree weather in July and many residents kept their lawns green by running sprinklers.

The result was the highest water usage in Spokane in seven years.

KXLY reports (https://bit.ly/1t1VCiU) residents are seeing the consequence now in their water bills.
