WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Police say a Delaware man broke his ankle in a parachute accident in southern New Jersey.

The man was skydiving with Free Fall Adventures when he landed in a backyard in Washington Township Thursday night.

Police Lt. Dennis Simms tells the South Jersey Times (https://bit.ly/1t1IFp3 ) 60-year-old Guy Harrington’s parachute deployed, but he had a hard landing.

Harrington was treated at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
