TOWN OF PORT EDWARDS, Wis. (AP) - Wood County sheriff’s official say the man whose body was found along a river trail accidentally asphyxiated.

Sheriff’s Lt. Quentin Ellis says the 33-year-old man somehow had gotten into a position where he couldn’t move and couldn’t breathe. Some teenagers found the man’s body Wednesday evening on the trail in the Town of Port Edwards.

Ellis tells Daily Tribune Media (https://wrtnews.co/1sGtjI2 ) the man had been dead for one or two days and died of positional asphyxiation.
