PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police have released the name of a man shot to death outside a Philadelphia concert being held to promote peace and stem violence in the city.

Officials said 20-year-old Alexis Guevara was outside the Dell Music Center in the city’s Fairmount Park when he was shot shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where authorities said he was pronounced dead at about 2:15 a.m. Thursday.

Officials said it was unclear whether he was attending the “Philly Support Philly: Peace on the Streets” concert. None of the approximately 600 people inside the venue were injured.

Detectives have said the motive for the shooting is unclear. Police have said they were checking surveillance video but have not announced any arrests in the case.
