BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Authorities say they have recovered the body of a 22-year-old man who fell from Billings’ Rimrocks.

Billings police Sgt. Shane Winden says a Thursday night caller reported a person was walking toward the edge of the cliff before the caller heard something fall.

The body was found where the vertical cliffs meet the slope, and emergency crews worked into the night to recover it.

Winden says investigators don’t yet know why the man fell.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday afternoon and the Yellowstone County coroner’s office won’t release the man’s name until family members are notified.
