ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Law enforcement officials say a child allegedly abducted in Juneau last year has been found in California.

The U.S. Marshals Service says it assisted the Alaska State Troopers and Juneau Police Department in locating the child’s mother in California. The woman, Jessica Rodriguez, also known as Jessica Barranco, was arrested Wednesday in Temecula, California.

Rochelle Liedeke, with the U.S. Marshals Service, told KTUU (https://bit.ly/Yaygfr ) the child was found unharmed and will be returned to family in Alaska.

Liedeke said Rodriguez was wanted for custodial interference in Juneau. She said a warrant had been issued for Rodriguez in June.
