HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) - Bergen County authorities have arrested a 16-year-old camp counselor on sexual assault charges.

The boy is accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with three 6-year-old boys at the Kaplan JCC on the Palisades, Neil Katskin Day Camp in Tenafly.

Prosecutors say an employee at the camp notified supervisors, who called police.

Police interviewed every child under the care of the teen.

He’s charged with sexual assault and child endangerment. He’s been released to his parents and is wearing an electronic monitoring device.

His name has not been released because of his age.
