SAN ANTONIO (AP) - San Antonio police are trying to identify a man’s body discovered when a city worker on a tractor ran over the remains while mowing some tall grass.

Police Chief William McManus says the man was dead before being run over Thursday and he appeared to have suffered upper body trauma.

The worker stopped and called 911 when he realized the body was under the tractor. Police found blood nearby in the area close to a creek and several feet from a road.

Authorities are trying to determine when the victim was dumped.
