ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (AP) - Country music fans are taking over the Alabama coast this weekend for a free Kenny Chesney concert.

Chesney’s publicist says more than 40,000 people are expected to attend the free show on the beach outside the Flora-Bama bar on Saturday afternoon.

The chance to get free tickets already has expired, and organizers are asking people to stay away if they don’t already have one.

The bar is located on Perdido Key at the Alabama-Florida state line and no concert parking is available at the site.

But nine remote lots are being used, and shuttle buses will get people to and from the venue.

Chesney has a song titled “Flora-Bama” on his upcoming album. CMT is filming the concert for a televised special.
