LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its 10th annual induction class.

Candidates can be in the performance field such as music, dance or acting; a non-performance field including writing, directing and producing; or a posthumous honor. Another classification is for “pioneers,” an early innovator with an Arkansas connection who is still living.

Submissions must include justifications for the nomination along with contact information. The deadline is October 1. Nominations can be sent to Gloria Robins, Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, 1 Capitol Mall, Suite 4A-900, Little Rock, AR 72201.

Past honorees include author John Grisham, Johnny Cash and Billy Bob Thornton. The latest class will be inducted in late 2015.
