TULSA, Okla. (AP) - University of Tulsa football coach Bill Blankenship has awarded scholarships to four walk-ons to the Golden Hurricane football team.
Matt Linscott from Jenks; Colby Scott from Enid; Hayden Carman from Little Rock, Arkansas; and transfer Mandel Dixon from Pittsburg State were awarded scholarships on Saturday.
Tulsa’s season-opener is Aug. 28 when TU hosts Tulane with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
