BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a 31-year-old Southern California man who jumped off a boat in Lake Mohave over the weekend and hasn’t been seen since.
Officials at Lake Mead National Recreation Area say they were called around noon Saturday after the man was seen struggling near Cottonwood Cove and slipped under the water.
Crews searched the marina immediately but said recent storms have made the water murkier and have complicated the operation.
The man is believed to be about 100 yards from the shoreline in water that’s 80-100 feet deep.
He wasn’t wearing a life jacket at the time.
