OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the murder conviction and life without parole sentence of man convicted in an Oklahoma City slaying.

The court on Tuesday rejected appeals from 32-year-old Michael Jimenez - including Jimenez’s allegations of prosecutorial misconduct and ineffective counsel.

Jimenez was convicted in 2013 of the 2010 shooting death of Lupe Cruz during a robbery at the home in Oklahoma City where Cruz was living.
