SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - An armed suspect bound four people inside a Scottsdale bank before he was captured in a parking lot.

Scottsdale police say there were no reported injuries and the name of the 46-year-old suspect wasn’t immediately released.

Police say the man was wearing a black mask, gloves and wide-brimmed hat and carrying a handgun.

He went into a Chase Bank branch as it opened about 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the man fired a round into the ceiling, held employees at gunpoint and started to take what cash he could find as a bank alarm was activated.

He then tied up three employees and was leaving the bank when a customer walked in.

The man bound the customer and got into an SUV when police arrested him in the parking lot.
