OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Thunder have hired Florida assistant Mark Daigneault to coach their D-League team.

Daigneault spent the past four years working under Billy Donovan as assistant to the head coach. Last season, the Gators became the first SEC team to go 18-0 in conference play. During Daigneault’s four years at Florida, the program posted a 120-30 record (.800) and advanced to the Elite Eight each season.

Before arriving at Florida, the Leominster, Massachusetts, native spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Holy Cross.

Daigneault replaces Darko Rajakovic, who accepted an assistant coaching position on Scott Brooks’ Oklahoma City Thunder staff last month.
