BELOIT, Wis. (AP) - Investigators say the adult son of a man later found dead turned himself in to Beloit police.

Capt. Bill Tyler says the 30-year-old son walked into the Beloit police station lobby about 1:30 a.m. Monday and said he had committed a crime at his home. Police responded and found the 58-year-old man dead. Tyler says two other people were in the home and were awakened by police.

WISC-TV ( ) says the son has been placed under arrest.
