BUCKEYE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say 11 people have been rescued in Wickenburg following a hard-hitting monsoon that struck a trailer park.

KSAZ-TV reports (https://goo.gl/iwxHlP) that Wickenburg Fire Chief Ed Temerowski says six adults and five children were pulled from homes late Monday after flooding from a wash overtook the area.

Officials say severe weather also knocked out power to around 200 customers nearby.

Avondale, Buckeye, and El Mirage also were hit with heavy rains.
