PAULDEN, Ariz. (AP) - Three suspected gang members have been arrested after leading authorities on a 100-mph chase in north-central Arizona.

The chase on Highway 89 and several side roads ended when the stolen vehicle came to a stop near a cliff on a dead-end road Saturday night in Chino Valley.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say the incident began in Paulden when one of the occupants in the stolen SUV allegedly fired two shots at a vehicle in front of them.

They say 21-year-old Hawk Osti is being held on suspicion of unlawful flight, misconduct involving weapons, unlawful discharge of a firearm, open alcohol container in vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say 20-year-old Edgar Llanes and 19-year-old Julio Gonzalez both are facing charges including unlawful flight, endangerment and misconduct involving weapons.
