CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. (AP) - Hunters are being asked to look out for a hiker who has been missing for nearly two weeks near Crested Butte.

Sherri Ahlbrandt of Littleton was reported missing Aug. 13 in the Oh Be Joyful and Daisy Pass area of the Gunnison National Forest after she failed to return to her campsite. A four-day search of the Ruby Range and Raggeds Wilderness that included search dogs and a helicopter didn’t find any sign of her.

Bow hunting season begins Saturday and the Colorado Parks and Wildlife says hunters may hike to more remote areas outside the search area.

Ahlbrandt is 5-feet-2 inches tall, has dark hair and weighs about 105 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black windbreaker and dark shorts.
