CHICAGO (AP) - A Chicago man has been found guilty of cutting his neighbor’s ear and fingers with a chain saw after the two men argued about money.

The Chicago Sun-Times (https://bit.ly/1lcyLA3 ) reports Anthony Metcalf was found guilty of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm by Cook County Judge Dennis Porter on Tuesday.

Neighbor Preston Smith told the paper after the attack last year that Metcalf first used the 14-inch mechanical chain saw on his car and then “just started swiping at me.”

He said he went to Metcalf’s house for a beer after finishing a shift for the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation and the situation quickly escalated.

Metcalf faces two to five years in prison.
