RENO, Nev. (AP) - Washoe County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a second suspect in the attempted murder of a Sun Valley man whose attackers hit him with rocks.

Detectives say they arrested 34-year-old Christopher Brian Healy on Tuesday in connection with a fight reported in Sun Valley on July 22 about 10 p.m.

The other suspect, Cory Hicks, was located and arrested but the other suspect fled the scene.

Detectives say an investigation led them to Healy, who’s now being held in the Washoe County jail. Both men have been charged with attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon.

The name or condition of the victim has not been released.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 775-328-3320 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
