KENAI, Alaska (AP) - The Kenai Potter’s Guild will get to keep its old studio space at the Kenai Fine Arts Center at least for another year.

The Peninsula Clarion (https://is.gd/J177Xt) says that earlier this year, the Peninsula Art Guild voted to evict the potter’s group after questions over insurance coverage for the pottery studio emerged.

The two sides came to an agreement July 30 to renew a sublease through the end of September 2015.

Potter’s guild treasurer Karen Monell says the agreement partly hinged on obtaining a general liability policy to cover kiln use.

Potter’s guild president Laura Faeo says both sides have agreed to meet in mid-2015 to discuss a potential sublease renewal.
