AMSTERDAM (AP) - Guus Hiddink’s attacking options in his first internationals back in charge of the Netherlands have been reduced after Arjen Robben, Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Rafael van der Vaart pulled out of his squad.

The Dutch football association said Sunday that Robben withdrew from the squad for a friendly against Italy and a European Championship qualifier against the Czech Republic with an ankle injury.

The association says Van der Vaart has a muscle injury and Huntelaar is ill.

Hiddink has called up PSV Eindhoven winger Luciano Narsingh as a replacement in a squad now reduced to 23 players.

In its first matches since finishing third in the World Cup, the Netherlands plays Italy in Bari on Thursday and takes on the Czech republic five days later in Prague.
