GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a woman injured in a two-vehicle crash in Georgetown has died.

Troopers say 76-year-old Della Mellington of Georgetown died July 29 at a hospice.

Police say on July 24, Mellington was driving west on East Piney Grove Road when she failed to stay stopped at a stop sign. Officers say she pulled into the path of a truck driven by 79-year-old James L. Walter of Delmar.

Troopers say the truck hit Mellington’s minivan on the driver’s side. She was flown to Christiana Medical Center.

The accident remains under investigation.
