LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has scheduled two public meetings to discuss transportation needs and potential improvements in central Arkansas.

The areas involved in the discussions include Interstate 30 from I-40 to I-530 and includes the Arkansas River Bridge in addition to I-40 from JFK Boulevard to Highway 67.

The meetings will be Tuesday at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and Thursday at the Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential in Little Rock.

Both meetings will begin at 4 p.m. and last for about three hours.
