Body found in Clark Fork River in Missoula

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A fisherman spotted a man’s body in the Clark Fork River in Missoula on Tuesday evening.

Missoula County sheriff’s spokeswoman Paige Pavalone says the body was spotted at about 3:45 p.m. She said it appeared the body had been in the water for a while.

Search and Rescue volunteers recovered the body. It was sent to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
