NEW YORK (AP) - Two women entrusted to teach young Korean exchange students at a Queens school are accused of inflicting physical and emotional abuse as a form of extreme punishment.

Prosecutors on Thursday charged Sun Kyung Park and Min Kyung Chea with endangering the welfare of a child.

They also charged Park with assault and Chea with attempted assault.

Prosecutors say the women abused four students at Crown Tutoring Academy in Little Neck.

They include two 10-year-olds prosecutors say wet their pants after being told they could not use the restroom.

The 33-year-old Park faces up to seven years if convicted. The 34-year-old Chea faces up to a year.

Chea’s husband owns the school.

Information on the women’s lawyers was not immediately available.

A message left at the school wasn’t immediately returned.
