DICKSON CITY, Pa. (AP) - The administrator of a northeastern Pennsylvania civic center is charged with theft and fraud for allegedly stealing more than $13,000 from her employer.

Fifty-one-year-old Rebecca Flannery of Dickson City was charged Wednesday and released on $25,000 bail.

Lackawanna County Detective Lisa Bauer says Flannery used the Dickson City Civic Center’s debit card to withdraw $11,500 in cash at casinos and that she also stole about $1,800 in cash from the facility’s pre-school program.

A preliminary hearing for Flannery is set for next week.

Her lawyer did not return phone calls seeking comment.
