COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - No one was hurt when a paintball warehouse in El Paso County caught fire Thursday.

But it took some 60 firefighters to douse the blaze amid exploding cans of paint.

The (Colorado Springs) Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/V2w5sy ) that firefighters from Peterson Air Force Base and three other departments helped put out the blaze.

A witness told the newspaper that aerosol cans could be heard exploding inside the building. He saw several of the pressurized cans shoot through the roof and the side of the building.

A few employees inside the building at the time escaped without injuries.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
