FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a family from California and a 3-year child were killed in a head-on collision on Interstate 40 in northern Arizona.

Arizona Department of Transportation officials on Thursday identified 23-year-old Michelle Bernadet Yaeger, 66-year-old Bruce William Yaeger and 68-year-old Elna G. Yaeger among four victims who died at the crash scene.

The Canoga Park, California family was traveling about 15 miles east of Flagstaff.

ADOT spokesman Raul Garcia says 3-year-old Kyler Lee Jensen was one of four Winslow family members in the other car and died at the scene.

He says 45-year-old Orlinda Kinlecheenie, the driver, and 21-year-old Kelafer Kinlecheenie were transported to a Flagstaff hospital. An 11-month-old child was not injured.

Authorities say one car crossed the median but did not specify which one.

The investigation remains ongoing.
