JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - A Jonesboro woman has pleaded guilty to reduced charges in connection with the shooting death of her husband.

KAIT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/V4sY3g ) that Michelle Despain pleaded guilty Friday to three counts of hindering apprehension in the Aug. 24 shooting death of Marc Despain inside the couple’s home. Michelle Despain was originally charged with capital murder in the case.

Prosecutors say they will recommend a 30-year-prison sentence for Despain when she’s sentenced Sept. 17.

Despain’s father - Carl Kelley - and Terrance Barker previously pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the case and both were sentenced to 35 years in prison. Another suspect - Johnny Hubbard - previously pleaded guilty to hindering apprehension and his probation in an unrelated drug case was revoked.
