CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a father-and-son bail bondsmen team has fatally shot a man in Chandler.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials say the shooting occurred Friday afternoon after the man allegedly pulled a gun and shot at the two bondsmen.

They say the bondsmen went to the man’s Chandler home on Friday afternoon after he didn’t show up in court on aggravated harassment charges.

When they approached a mobile home, authorities say the man came out and pointed a gun at them.

There was an exchange of gunfire but it’s still unclear who fired first.

The name and age of the man killed hasn’t been released yet.

Sheriff’s officials say the man was wearing body armor and his home was wired for surveillance.

Investigators later searched the man’s home and found numerous weapons.
