MILLS RIVER, N.C. (AP) - About 125 new jobs are planned for Henderson County as a company that grafts plants locates in Mills River.

Area media outlets report that North-Carolina-based TriEst Ag Group is creating a partnership with companies from Israel and Italy to create Tri-Hishtil.

Mark Williams, executive director of the nonprofit Agribusiness Henderson County, says the partnership combines the soil management experience of the American company, the plant-grafting expertise of Israel-based Hishtil and the plant-breeding experience of the Italian company, SIS/Centro SEIA.

Histhtil produces 80 million plants annually through joint venture nurseries in six countries.
