ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Strong winds have caused damaged in Albertville and resulted in scattered power outages.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service say a line of storms moved northeast into Marshall County on Thursday evening.

Local utility officials told Al.com (https://bit.ly/1pgcaCr ) that winds picked up quickly, causing scattered power outages before 7 p.m. Tree limbs were also brought down.

It was not immediately clear how many customers were affected.
