SEATTLE (AP) - Vulcan Real Estate is selling 872 apartments in five buildings all in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood.

The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce reports (https://bit.ly/1kOqW3H) the company plans to use the revenue to fund new projects in the area where Amazon.com has its headquarters.

The company is the real estate arm of Vulcan Inc., which was formed by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
