CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was fatally shot by a father-and-son bail bondsmen team in Chandler.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials say the Friday afternoon shooting occurred after 59-year-old Donald Richard Johnson allegedly pulled a gun and shot at the two bondsmen.

They say 72-year-old Oren Wallace and 36-year-old Nathan Wallace went to Johnson’s home after he didn’t show up in court on aggravated harassment charges.

When they approached a mobile home, authorities say Johnson came out and pointed a gun at them.

There was an exchange of gunfire but it’s still unclear who fired first.

Sheriff’s officials say Johnson was wearing body armor and his home was wired for surveillance.

Investigators later found numerous weapons inside.

Sheriff’s spokesman Christopher Hegstrom says no charges have been filed at this time.
