NEW BERLIN, N.Y. (AP) - Ryan Dungey won the Unadilla National on Saturday for third victory in last four rounds and fourth this season in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Dungey, the Red Bull KTM rider from Belle Plaine, Minnesota, won the first 450 Class moto and was second in the second. He’s second in the standings, seven points behind teammate Ken Roczen with two events left.

“It was an awesome day. We just wanted to make the most of the day and not get sidetracked,” Dungey said. “There’s a lot of racing left still with two rounds to go, but things are going good.”

Honda’s Trey Canard was second, finishing fourth in the first moto and winning the second. Honda’s Eli Tomac was third after two third-place runs, and Roczen was fourth overall.

“I can’t tell you how good that feels,” Canard said after his moto win. “I’m not going to sit here and cry about what’s happened (in the past with injuries), but I am just so thankful to have the opportunity to be here (on top of the podium) again. I’m just so happy to be up here and I’m looking forward to the next two races.”

Valli Motorsports Yamaha’s Christophe Pourcel won the 250 Class for his first victory of the season. The Frenchman won the first moto and finished second in the second.

Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin was second. He was third in the first moto and won the second.

“The first moto was good and we got a good start in the second moto,” Pourcel said. “I love the track here and it really works for my style. I’m just really grateful to be back up here (atop the podium) and want to thank everyone for the support they’ve given to me. Jeremy was riding great in that second moto, so I had to give it to him.”

Martin leads the standings, 66 points ahead of Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett. Baggett was sixth overall.
