SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls police ticketed a bicyclist who was injured and taken to a hospital after he crashed through the window of a car.

KELO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1A2vtCB ) that the boy was cited Friday for failure to stop before entering an intersection.

The bicyclist was one of three boys riding bikes on a sidewalk.

Police say the bicyclist was riding at a high rate of speed when he struck the rear passenger door of a car that was turning.

The impact sent the boy through the car window. He taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
