FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas junior Michael Qualls has been named SEC Player of the Week after back-to-back 20-point games.

The Razorbacks picked up three victories in the past week, over SMU, North Texas and Iona.

Qualls is averaging 15.3 point per game, which ranks seventh in the conference. Arkansas leads the Southeastern Conference in scoring, at 90 points a game, and has not scored fewer than 78 points in any of its six contests.

Qualls had 22 points against North Texas and 20 against Iona. He also had nine rebounds in each game. The 22 points marked a career-high.
