ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities have identified three people killed in a weekend shooting in Atlanta that left two others wounded.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased people as 19-year-old Joshua N. Barkley; 43-year-old Marcus M. Gay; and 51-year-old Ricky Whitlock.

Atlanta police Sgt. Greg Lyon said the gunfire happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday at a home in a neighborhood off Lakewood Avenue in southeast Atlanta.

Lyon told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/1vAkiko) that the wounded people were in stable condition late Saturday morning at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Atlanta police Capt. Paul Guerrucci said investigators were uncertain of the motive, but they do not think the shooting was a random act.
