RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - The Bureau of Land Management is holding a second call for nominations to fill three positions on its national Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board.

The Riverton Ranger reports (https://bit.ly/1pKvkTr ) nominations must be submitted by Dec. 18 - 30 days after the BLM announced its request.

Those who submitted a nomination in response to the first call for nominations announced Aug. 29 do not need to resubmit. All nominations from the first and second calls will be considered together during the review process.

The board advises the BLM and the U.S. Forest Service on the protection and management of wild, free-roaming horses and burros on public land.
