HYNDMAN, Pa. (AP) - State police and the county coroner were investigating after a person was hit by a train in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Bedford County dispatchers say the incident happened about 8 p.m. Sunday near Hyndman.

Troopers at the Bedford barracks had no new information to release Monday, and county Coroner Sam Gordon did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

The victim’s name has not been released.
