MCADENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - The Christmas lights are about to come on in McAdenville.

The small town west of Charlotte will transform itself into Christmas Town USA for the 59th time late Monday afternoon.

The hundreds of Christmas trees will be on Monday through Friday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday the lights will be on until 11 p.m.

A spokesman for Pharr Yarns says there are hundreds of thousands of lights strung on the trees around the small textile town.
