MANNSVILLE, Okla. (AP) - Johnston County authorities say three men were arrested after investigators found more than one ton of marijuana growing at a ranch near Mannsville.

Sheriff Jon Smith told KXII (https://bit.ly/1yaixvj ) that trespassers on the property called authorities about the operation and deputies arrived Saturday to find four men at a campsite. Smith said three of the men were arrested while the fourth managed to escape.

Smith said it appears the men had been at the site since spring.

Smith said the three men in custody are being held without bond pending a court appearance and the filing of formal charges.
