DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a Des Moines woman claims she was stabbed at a parking lot and didn’t notice the wound until she got home.

Police say officers were called to Broadlawns Medical Center shortly before 5 a.m. Monday on a report of a stabbing.

A woman at the center told police she was involved earlier in the morning in an altercation with another woman who had a knife. She claims the altercation happened at an apartment building parking lot.

The woman at the center says she went home and noticed her pants were bloody and she had a stab wound. She was treated for a wound on her right thigh.

Des Moines television station KCCI reports (https://bit.ly/1HShJ2l ) the injured woman eventually became uncooperative with police. No arrests have been made.
