COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Police have arrested a 45-year-old man after his wife was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a Colorado Springs home.
Officers who were called to the home Sunday on reports of a potential stabbing found 37-year-old Alicia Montoya dead. The Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1wf6DAM ) several people arrived at the home in the southeastern part of the city afterward sobbing and asking officers questions.
Lt. Catherine Buckley says Montoya’s husband, 45-year-old Robert Montoya, has been arrested on a charge of first-degree murder. Investigators have not said how the woman was killed.
Detectives from the violent crimes unit are investigating.
