TCHULA, Miss. (AP) - The Holmes County sheriff says a man is accused of shooting another one to death after an argument in Tchula.

Sheriff Willie March tells The Greenwood Commonwealth (https://bit.ly/1vdlpXe ) that 30-year-old Edward Young of Tchula was arrested during the weekend and likely would be charged with murder in the slaying of Travis Anderson, who was also 30 and from the town.

It was not clear whether Young has an attorney, and a warden did not immediately return a call Monday from The Associated Press about when charges would be filed.

March says Anderson was in a parked vehicle on the side of U.S. Highway 49 when he was shot to death Saturday night.

The sheriff says the killing was unrelated to a second apparent slaying during the weekend in Tchula.
